Stains do not stick directly to your enamel. They bind to a thin protein layer called the pellicle that coats every tooth within minutes of brushing.

Traditional whitening toothpaste ignores this layer and just abrasively scrubs it off along with the enamel underneath. Papain is a proteolytic enzyme. It digests the protein bonds holding stains to the pellicle, so stains release on their own. The enamel stays intact.

Xylitol helps neutralize the acids that erode enamel over time. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) supports the gum tissue that years of over-brushing tends to leave inflamed and receded. Coconut oil provides gentle antimicrobial support without stripping the mouth's natural balance.
